I am back!! 🙂 It has been a very long couple of weeks, as most of you know if you follow me on my other social media platforms. However, the good news is that Daddy is doing great since his surgery and I am back to blogging!
So let’s dive right in! Today’s post is all about the TRESemme’s “Reverse Your Routine” Shampoo and Conditioner products. I did receive both products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. These products have been seen all over social media and when I saw that I would be having the opportunity to try them out, I was excited!
To start, my hair is very fine and I don’t have a whole lot of it. Which means I don’t get a lot of volume either. Growing up I would always tease the top of my hair for that extra volume, especially in beauty school or use nothing but volume products. Some worked, and some left my hair feeling really dry. Which left me feeling a little skeptical about using conditioner BEFORE my shampoo.
With the “Reverse Your Routine” combo you start by using the “Pre-Wash Conditioner” as Step 1 then the “Shampoo” as step 2. So how exactly does it work you ask?
According the TRESemme, their products are “formulated with a combination of Fleximax Volumizers and Fiber Polishing Actives.” This helps protect your hair during washing by binding to the cuticle which then allows your hair to be smooth and polished!
Even as humid as it is here in Florida, my hair was still full of volume using this combo! My hair was bouncy and smooth for the entire day (minus the ends because I am due for a haircut..and let’s be honest, color too!). I was pleasantly surprised and have fallen in love. ❤ ❤ Thank you again to TRESemme and Influenster!
